Driversport's facility houses a mustang 2wd eddy current chassis dynamometer.
We've chosen this configuration over others in industry due to several key factors. The Mustang is designed to duplicate real world conditions by applying load to the vehicle exactly the way it would be loaded on the street. Including wind resistance.
Another key factor is the eddy current power absorbers ability to hold a vehicle at any given rpm vs. any specified load site. This translates into our ability to perform "steady state" tuning and various vehicle simulation testing. This also allows us to diagnose driveability conditions in a controlled environment while negating the need to operate customer vehicles on public roadways.
Our dyno has the capability of measuring power levels up to 1200whp and speeds up to 150mph. We are able to produce a variety of vehicle tests including, but not limited to whp, wtq, rpm, speed, afr, iat, obd2 monitoring, data logging, quarter mile testing and road simulation. We offer tuning of factory management systems and "stand alone" engine management systems alike. We also host some of the industry's premier tuners for custom software applications and product development.
